SPRINT ENERGY LIMITED – REQUEST FOR SUSPENSION EXTENSION
Sprint Energy Limited (ASX: SPS, “Sprint”, “Company”) refers to the suspension request made to the ASX by the Company on 31 August 2012, in relation to a pending capital placement.
Based on advice by the lead broker in the placement, Merchant Capital, finalization of the placement has been further delayed due to a number of unforeseen events, thus Sprint is hereby requesting a further temporary suspension of trading to last from receipt of this request until the release of the announcement, in any case no later than the commencement of trading on 6 September 2012.
Sprint is not aware of any reason why the temporary suspension request should not be granted. Further, Sprint is not aware of any other information necessary to inform the market about the temporary suspension.
