MANAGING DIRECTOR’S RESIGNATION

Sprint Energy Ltd (“Sprint”) (ASX Code: SPS) wishes to advise that Mr Andrew Mattin has today resigned as Managing Director of the Company. Mr Mattin will step down from his role as an Executive Director immediately and will remain as Chief Executive Officer for the Company through his three-month notice period which ends on 7 June 2012.

On behalf of the Board of Directors I offer my thanks to Andrew for his service to the Company over the past 6 months. The Board is grateful for Andrew's tireless contribution to steer the Company through a very difficult transition period from Modena to Sprint.
