DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT AND RESIGNATION

Appointment of Mr Gary Roper

Sprint Energy Limited (“Sprint”) (ASX Code: SPS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Gary Roper as a Non-Executive Director to the Board of Directors.

Gary Roper has 38 years experience in mining and exploration commencing in the Department of Mines Western Australia. Later in the private sector he worked through all facets of field exploration, mining tenement maintenance and acquisition, management and the funding of exploration programmes.

In 1987 he along with others acquired a project portfolio, raised seed capital and successfully listing AuDAX Resources NL on the Australian Stock Exchange. Gary continued as Managing Director and later as Chairman for many years as AuDAX conducted exploration and small mining operations throughout WA. Many of the tenements and exploration acreage acquired now form the assets of recently listed Riedel Resources which was hived off from AuDAX following a change of focus to oil and gas.

During his years as a managing director and chairman, Gary gained invaluable experience with ASX and ASIC reporting requirements and all the obligations which go with the day to day operation a publicly listed company.

Resignation of Mr Cosimo Damiano

Sprint Energy Limited also announces the resignation of Mr Cosimo Damiano as Non-Executive Chairman and Director of the Company. The Board acknowledges the contributions Mr Damiano has made and wishes him success in his future endeavours.
