TRADING HALT
The securities of View Resources Limited (the "Company") will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday 29 August 2012 or when the announcement is released to the market.

TRADING HALT REQUEST VIEW RESOURCES LIMITED (ASX: VRE)
The company requests a trading halt on all its listed securities for up to 2 business days, effective immediately, pending an announcement regarding a capital raising and placement to be completed. The company is in the process of completing the book build and requires time to finalise matters and the relevant ASX announcement.
The company expects to make this announcement at any time before market open on Wednesday morning the 29th August 2012 after which time it would expect its securities to be trading.
The company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
