IGE: New Board members elected, mining expertise strengthened

IGE Resources AB, the former International Gold Exploration IGE AB (OSE: IGE), announced today that the Extraordinary General Meeting on 26 March, 2010 elected two new members of the Board of Directors.

The two new members are Mr Rob George Still and Mr Anton Esterhuizen, who both bring with them extensive mining experience from Southern Africa. Mr Ole Jørgen Fredriksen is leaving IGE's Board of Directors at his own request.

IGE's Board of Directors now has these members:

• John Afseth (Chairman)
• Lars Olof Nilsson
• Timothy George
• Magne Aaby
• Rob George Still
• Anton Esterhuizen

Rob George Still (age 54) is currently Deputy Chairman of Pangea DiamondFields' Board of Directors. He has 25 years of experience from the mining industry, where he has participated in the development of a large number of new mining projects. Mr Still has been involved in both the senior and junior sectors of the mining industry worldwide and has held both executive and non-executive director positions in mining and exploration companies listed in South Africa, Australia, Canada and the UK. By education, Rob Still is a Bachelor of Commerce and a Chartered Accountant in South Africa. Mr Still is a South African citizen.

Anton Esterhuizen (age 58) is an experienced geologist with more than 30 years exploration experience. He has played a leading role in a number of major gold and mineral discoveries in Southern Africa and has received several prestigious awards for his outstanding work in the mining industry. Mr Esterhuizen managed for a number of years the exploration activities of Pangea DiamondFields throughout Africa. He holds a Bachelor's degree in geology and a Master's degree in mineral exploration. Mr Esterhuizen is a South African citizen.
