DC TWO ACHIEVES ISO 27001 CERTIFICATION FOR DATA SECURITY

Highlights:

• DC Two awarded certification of the internationally recognised ISO 27001 for data security.

• ISO 27001 certification is the most widely recognised international standard for data security and confirms that DC Two has considered controls to ensure that all organisational assets including technical and physical are managed under a secure framework using risk management.

• The scope of the certification includes both the physical Bibra Lake data centre and the company’s cloud platform.

• The certification will increase DC Two’s competitive edge when tendering for large enterprise and government customers and ensures current and future customer information is secured under a structured framework.

• DC Two is on track to become the ONLY company in Western Australia with an Uptime Institute accredited Tier III data centre and ISO 27001 ISMS accredited cloud platform.

27 July 2021: DC Two Limited (ASX: DC2) (“DC Two” or the “Company”), is pleased to announce that its software, cloud platform and data centres have achieved International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 27001:2013 Certification, the most widely recognised international standard for information security management systems including data security.

The ISO 27001 certification is one of the most stringent international certifications and confirms the information security controls and other forms of risk treatment are in place to detect and defend against potential data system vulnerabilities. The certification was granted after the completion of a series of formal audits performed by inspection, verification and testing organisation, Bureau Veritas.

DC Two is in the process of completing the largely finished Bibra Lake facility and re-applying for Tier III accreditation, which will help secure government contracts, mid-market and enterprise customers requiring Tier III compliance, security and access accreditations.
