The following is a Company Announcement issued by FIMBank p.l.c. ("FIMBank" or the "Bank") pursuant to the Malta Financial Services Authority Listing Rules 5.16, 5.20 and 5.21.

FIMBank p.l.c. announces that, with effect from 5 August 2014, Mr. Osama Talat Al-Ghoussein, Kuwaiti national, holder of Kuwaiti Passport No: 003849740, and residing at Kipco Tower, Flat 1401, Khaled bin Al Waleed St., Sharq, Kuwait, has been appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors of FIMBank.

In addition to his extensive experience in the banking sector, Mr. Al-Ghoussein held various senior management positions with Citigroup Dubai as Regional Manager, Standard Chartered Private Bank as CEO and Regional Managing Director, and most recently, SVP, Pictet & Cie, Dubai Representative Office.

Mr. Al-Ghoussein currently holds the positions of SVP, Banking, Top Management at KIPCO, Kuwait and also is a member of the Board of Directors of Burgan Bank, Turkey and Algeria Gulf Bank.

No matter concerning Mr. Al-Ghoussein requires disclosure under Listing Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.
