S.C. UAMT S.A. Oradea was founded on 1 April 1951 as the State Company Bernath Andrei, named subsequently in different ways until the current one, performing its activity in consumption goods and means of transport domain.

Today the company’s object of activity consists in production and commercialization of auto components, molded parts from plastic and tire material and pressed parts for automotive field and for consumption goods industry.

Since its incorporation UAMT was an important provider of goods for the native and abroad manufacturers of means of transport predominant cars.

In time the company went through many stages of extension and modernization. Because of substantial investments in machines and equipments of high technology the company succeeded to impose itself on the market by quality and high productivity becoming a global provider of auto components.
