Spring Valley Acquisition Corp. II is a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, or similar business combination. The company raised $230 million in its initial public offering in October 2022. In July 2025, it entered into a definitive agreement to merge with Eagle Energy Metals Corp., a nuclear energy company. Eagle Energy holds rights to a significant uranium deposit in the United States and develops proprietary Small Modular Reactor (SMR) technology. The proposed combination is intended to address the structural undersupply of domestic uranium and meet growing demand for zero-carbon energy. Upon closing, the combined entity is expected to operate as Eagle Energy.
