Description

PJSC EL5-Energo, formerly known as Enel Russia, is a Russian power generation company that provides electricity and heat to industrial and household customers. The company's asset portfolio includes thermal power plants and wind farms. Its total installed electrical capacity is 5,962.38 MW and its thermal capacity is 1,822 Gcal/h. The company was established as part of the reorganization of Russia's former state-owned power utility, RAO UES. In October 2022, the Italian energy group Enel finalized the sale of its majority stake in the company to PJSC LUKOIL and the Gazprombank-Freesia fund, leading to the rebranding to EL5-Energo.
