CGX Energy Inc. is an exploration company engaged in the evaluation of petroleum and natural gas properties, primarily focused on the highly prospective Guyana-Suriname Basin. A key achievement was the successful drilling of the Kawa-1 exploration well in 2021/2022, which confirmed a working petroleum system in the northern Corentyne Block by discovering 228 feet of condensate and light oil pay across the Maastrichtian, Campanian, Santonian, and Coniacian intervals.
