$5.71 million State of Texas contract for Operator XR Systems

Largest order for Operator XR’s OP-2 systems to date.

Customer is Texas Department of Public Safety (Texas DPS).

$4.3m initial order with $1.4m option for additional support services to be delivered in years 3,4 and 5.

xReality Group Limited (XRG) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned US Subsidiary Operator XR LLC has been awarded a contract up to the value of $5.7m to supply Operator XR’s flagship OP2 training systems to the Texas DPS.
The contract consists of:

A quantity of OP-2 software licenses and VR training systems

Implementation, training, two years of support
-
A further three years of optional support
The systems will be used by Texas DPS for law enforcement training across the State of Texas.
About Texas DPS
The Texas DPS is the statewide public safety and law-enforcement agency for the State of Texas. DPS is responsible for highway patrol and traffic safety, statewide criminal investigations (including the Texas Rangers division), driver licensing and regulatory services, state crime laboratories, and coordination with local and federal partners on major incidents and homeland security. Given that Texas is the second-largest US state by both population and area, the DPS is a significant entity with substantial operational scale, managing the safety and security for over 30 million residents.
Terms of the Contract:

$4.3m for software licenses, systems, implementation and two years of support services

Payment terms 30 days from receipt of systems (expected to be received in full in Q2 FY26)

Optional Support Services for years 3, 4 and 5 totalling $1.4m (split over three years)
