Worldsec Limited (the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group")

Investment Update

The board of directors of the Company is pleased to announce that the Group has made an investment of US$800,000 for an 8 percent interest in the non-voting, participating share capital issued by ICBC Specialised Ship Leasing Investment Fund ("Investee"). The Investee is a newly established company incorporated in the Cayman Islands with an objective of achieving a stable return from primarily investing in marine vessels. The investment amount of US$800,000 was equivalent to 19.96 percent of the gross assets of the Group as at 31 October 2014.

The Chairman also reported in the Notice of AGM document published on 28 August 2014 that the directors had identified a potential investment opportunity into a start-up company aiming to provide educational services to kindergartens in China (the "Kindergarten Project").  A further announcement will be made should an agreement for the Kindergarten Project be reached in due course.
