VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT ENTERING INTO EPC CONTRACT FOR COAL TO HYDROGEN AND AMMONIA PLANT

This announcement is published on a voluntary basis to keep the shareholders of Wison Engineering Services Co. Ltd. (the ‘‘Company’’, together with its subsidiaries, the ‘‘Group’’) and potential investors informed of the latest business development of the Group.

The board of directors of the Company (the ‘‘Board’’) is pleased to announce that on 26 November 2021, an engineering, procurement and construction (the ‘‘EPC’’) contract (the ‘‘Contract’’) for Coal to Hydrogen and Ammonia Plant (the ‘‘Coal to Hydrogen and Ammonia Project’’) has been entered into between Henan Shenma Nylon Chemical Co. Ltd. (‘‘Henen Shenma’’) (河南神馬尼龍化工有限責任公司) and Wison Engineering Ltd. (惠生工程(中國)有限公司), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. The Coal to Hydrogen and Ammonia Project is the gasification and air separation part of the devices of Henan Shenma’s hydrogen-ammonia project located in Pingdingshan, Henan Province, China.

Wison Engineering Ltd. will be responsible for the detailed design, procurement, construction, installation and pre-commission services of the gasification system, air separation system, sewage treatment system, and water reuse system. The construction period of the Contract is expected to last until the third quarter of 2023.

The Contract with Henan Shenma represents another remarkable recognition of the Group’s capability in coal gasification. The Group has established a strong foothold in coal gasification for over a decade and it is now the Group’s competitive product. The Group will continue to implement the strategies of ‘‘driven by innovations, focused on principal operations and establishing global presence’’, making full use of the market advantages to reinforce its presence in the market of competitive products and improve market share.

The counterparty to the Contract is a third party independent of the Company and the connected persons of the Company. The Contract was entered into in the ordinary and usual course of business of the Group. The transactions contemplated under the Contract do not constitute a notifiable transaction of the Company.

The Board wishes to state that no forecast or prediction of the profits of the Group has been made with regard to the award of the Contract.

Shareholders of the Company and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the shares of the Company.
