Director Appointment / Resignation

Wingara AG Limited (ASX: WNR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr David Christie (GAICD) to the Wingara Board as a Non-Executive Director.

Mr Christie is a Solicitor with over 20-years international experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, commercial and corporate law. He served as an executive in London, Russia and New York at Renaissance Capital Bank, Deutsche Bank (UK) and Simmons & Simmons Lawyers (UK), and in Australia at Minter Ellison Lawyers and iSelect Ltd (ASX:ISU), where he held the roles of Chief Strategy Officer, General Counsel and Company Secretary.

More recently, Mr Christie has Co-Founded an Artificial Intelligence business (Wilson AI Pty Ltd) and a Digital Marketing Company (Amplifir Pty Ltd) and sits as a Non-Executive Director on Kleos Space SA (ASX:KSS) and Litigation Lending Services Limited.

Wingara’s Chairman, Mr Gavin Xing, said “We are very excited to have David join the Board as a Non-Executive Director after Wingara’s strong financial performance in FY20. With his governance background and a proven record in building successful businesses, he will bring invaluable experience and be an instrumental part of the Wingara team. I very much look forward to working closely with David to achieve Wingara’s long term objectives.”

Wingara would also like to announce that Non-Executive Director Mark Hardgrave will be stepping down from his role. Mr Xing said “The company would like to thank Mark for his contribution during his time serving as a Non-Executive director of the company and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
