Board appointment and resignation of directors
The board of Wingara AG Limited (Company) advises that Mr David Christie, has notified the Board of his intention to resign as a Chair and Non-Executive Director of the Company, effective 22 June 2025.
Mr Christie has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since 9 June 2020, Chair since 14 September 2020 and has served on the Remuneration and Nomination Committee and Audit and Risk Committee.
Marcello Diamante, Non-Executive Director of Wingara, thanked David for his work with Wingara over the years and said “David has been a key member of Wingara and has overseen the appointment of two CEOs, the strategic review of the AustCo Polar, including its subsequent divestment, and the sale of Raywood and the initialisation of the Epsom site post sale of Raywood.
David’s ongoing contribution to the governance of Wingara and his intellect and work ethic on the Board will be missed. We wish David the very best with his future endeavours.”
Wingara is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Jiang, Eric was a previous director of Wingara and is a corporate advisor to a number of companies. Additionally, Eric is currently a board member of ASX listed Wellnex Life Ltd (ASX:WNX) and has previously sat on the boards of ASX listed corporates Connexion Media Limited (ASX:CXZ), Perpetual Resources Limited (ASX:PEC). He is a past President of The Chinese Community Council of Australia.
In addition to the above changes Marcello Diamante will take on the role of Executive Chair of Wingara.
