WIIT signs a new five-year contract worth 2.8 million euros for cloud ERP services with a leading company in the manufacturing sector

Milan, 21 October 2024 – WIIT S.p.A. ("WIIT" or the "Company"; ISIN IT0005440893; WIIT.MI), one of the main European players in the Cloud Computing services market for enterprises, focused on the provision of continuous Hybrid and Hosted Private Cloud services for Critical Applications, announces the signing of a new 5-year contract worth approximately 2.8 million Euros, with a major company (the "Client") operating in the manufacturing sector.

The Client chose WIIT precisely for the high resilience and reliability guaranteed by the company's Secure Cloud model, the only Cloud Provider in Europe to boast three Tier IV-certified data centres by Uptime Institute. Indeed, thanks to its established presence in multiple regions, including Italy, Germany, and Switzerland, and its network of data centres with the highest security standards, WIIT is able to ensure the uninterrupted provision of services to its clients, even in critical events such as cyber attacks, which are currently the main cause of system downtime.

The signed agreement includes the migration of the customer's ERP platform to WIIT's Cloud. Such a critical application will be managed and hosted with the highest resilience and reliability within the Premium Zone in the Italy North-West Region. The Client has also chosen to activate the Disaster Recovery functionality, provided by the Premium Zone in the Region Germany West, which will ensure business continuity, resilience, and usability, essential factors to support critical business processes.
