WIIT announces four-year contract renewal for Cloud Services for a value of about Euro 4.7 million with a leading Italian company in the distribution of electrical material

Milan, 31 July 2024 – WIIT S.p.A. ("WIIT" or the "Company"; ISIN IT0005440893; WIIT.MI), one of the main European players in the market of Cloud Computing services for enterprises, focused on the provision of continuous Hybrid and Hosted Private Cloud services for critical applications, announces the renewal of a four-year contract for Secure Cloud services, for a total value of about Euro 4.7 million, with a leading Italian company (the "Client") part of a major international group, a reference operator in the B2B distribution of electrical material, solutions and services.

The Client chose to continue its long-standing collaboration with WIIT, confirming the strength of the relationship by extending its services to the new Secure Cloud model multi-region integrating managed services, processes, security and technologies. This model, included in the WIIT offer, will further enhance the flexibility, scalability and security of the services already available to the Client. The extension of the contract guarantees maximum resilience and business continuity thanks to the extension of Cloud services and the adoption of the Disaster Recovery service provided in the North-East Standard Zone in Italy (one of the 7 geographical "Regions"). The latter Zone operates in synergy with the Premium Zone Italy North-West, which holds systems capable of hosting all the Client's business critical processes ensuring high reliability.
