Westar Resources Limited (ASX: WSR) – Trading Halt
Trading in the securities of Westar Resources Limited (‘WSR’) will be halted at the request of WSR, pending the release of an announcement by WSR.
Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of:

the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 23 February 2026; or
-
the release of the announcement to the market.
WSR’s request for a trading halt is attached below for the information of the market.

TRADING HALT REQUEST
Westar Resources Ltd (the “Company”) hereby requests a trading halt in its securities and provides the following information in accordance with Listing Rule 17.1.
The request for the trading halt is in relation to an announcement regarding a material capital raising.
The Company requests that the trading halt be lifted on the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 23 February 2026 or when the anticipated announcement is released to the market.
The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
The Company is not aware of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
