Appointment of Non-Executive Director and Change of Company Secretary

Westar Resources Limited (ASX: WSR) (Westar or the Company) wishes to advise that Mr David Palumbo has been appointed as Non-Executive Director and Company Secretary.

Mr Palumbo is a Chartered Accountant and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors with over 15 years' experience across company secretarial, corporate advisory and financial management and reporting of ASX listed companies. Mr Palumbo currently serves as a non-executive director of Krakatoa Resources Limited, Albion Resources Limited, Rubix Resources Limited and Tarrina Resources Limited as well as Company Secretary for several ASX listed companies. Mr Palumbo is an Australian resident and will be the person responsible for communications with the ASX in relation to listing rule matters under Listing Rule 12.6.

Mr Palumbo replaces Mr Ben Donovan, who has now stepped down from his role as Non-Executive Director and Company Secretary. The Board wishes to thank Mr Donovan for his efforts in assisting the Company since his appointment in March 2021.

The Company would also like to advise that the registered office and principal place of business of the Company has been changed to:
