Extension to Entitlement Offer closing date

Westar Resources Limited (ASX: WSR ) ( Westar or the Company ) refers to its entitlement offer as detailed in its prospectus dated 6 April 2023 ( Prospectus ).

To ensure Eligible Shareholders have adequate time to participate, the Board has resolved to extend the closing date for its Entitlement Offer by a week to 5pm (Perth time) on Tuesday 2 May 2023.

Capitalised terms not otherwise defined in this announcement have the meaning given to those terms in the Prospectus.

The updated indicative timetable is set out below:

Last day to extend the Entitlement Offer closing date	27 April 2023
Entitlement Offer closes at 5pm (Perth time)	2 May 2023
