Annual General Meeting

Westar Resources Limited (Westar, ASX:WSR) advises that the Annual General Meeting of the Company (Meeting) will be held on 30 November 2021 at 10am at the Offices of the Company at Level 1, 19 Ord Street, West Perth WA.

Further to the temporary modifications to the Corporation Act 2001 as part of the Australian government’s response to COVID-19, the Company will not be sending hard copies of the Notice of Meeting (Notice) to shareholders who have not previously opted in to receiving electronic copies. The Notice can be viewed and downloaded from the Company's website at www.westar.net.au

It is currently the intention of the Board to hold a physical meeting for shareholders to attend. However, with the continuing developments surrounding COVID-19, the Directors strongly encourage all Shareholders to vote by lodging the proxy form attached to the Notice rather than attend the meeting.

The Board will continue to monitor Australian Government restrictions on public gatherings. If it becomes necessary or appropriate to make alternative arrangements for the Meeting such as via a virtual meeting, the Company will notify shareholders accordingly via the Company’s website (noted above) and the ASX announcement platform.

The Directors of the Company appreciate the understanding of shareholders under the current circumstances.
