Webjet Group appoints John Boris as NonExecutive Director

Webjet Group Limited (ASX:WJL) ( Webjet or the Company ) announces that John Boris has agreed to join the Webjet Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director, with effect from 1 August 2025.

Mr. Boris has over 25 years of experience in global ecommerce with a focus on travel and hospitality. He has a proven track record of building highly profitable consumer and enterprise businesses and creating category leading brands.

Mr. Boris is currently a Non-Executive Director of Cranky Health Pty Ltd, Chairman & Non-Executive Director of Feastables Ltd (USA) and President & Chief Growth Officer of Big Red Group Pty Ltd.

Mr. Boris’s previous executive roles include SVP and Global Chief Growth Officer for Tripadvisor (NASDAQ: TRIP), CEO of IfOnly (acquired by Mastercard), SVP and Chief Marketing Officer of Shutterfly (acquired by Apollo Global Management) and EVP and Managing Director of Lonely Planet.

Commenting on Mr Boris’ appointment to the Board, Webjet’s Chair, Don Clarke, said “I am delighted by the addition of John to the Board and very confident that his appointment will further strengthen the Board as the Company embarks on its 5-year growth journey and strives for ongoing success as a recently listed entity”.
