Augsburg, 23 June 2005 – WashTec AG has transferred its short-term working capital loan into a syndicated long-term loan. The loan agreement has a term lasting over three years to at least December 31, 2008. The syndicated loan agreed with a syndicate of banks lead by Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG, totals EUR 75 million. Depending on the level of the company’s financial gearing, bank debt interest expenses should be reduced considerably. The subordinated loan of the shareholders Edelmar, Achernar and Augias which is interest free until June 30, 2005, has been retained. The subordinated loan has been renewed to 30 June 2010 and will bear interest from July 1, 2005. In connection with the capital increase resolved by the WashTec annual general meeting on June 15, 2005, the majority of the subordinated loan shall be repaid.
