WashTec AG’s supervisory board has decided to reorganize the company’s executive board in line with a new allocation of duties. A newly formed team of existing and just appointed executives has been built to exploit additional opportunities for sustainable organice growth in sales and earnings.
Dr. Jürgen Rautert (56), CEO, will leave the company by mutual agreement, effective January 30, 2015. The supervisory board thanks Dr. Rautert for his positive contributions for the overall company strategy, product-innovation and business model development.
Dr. Volker Zimmermann (51) has been appointed as chief technology officer (CTO) and chief executive officer (CEO), effective February 1, 2015. Dr. Zimmermann has held executive positions in major engineering and automotive companies in his previous career.
Karoline Kalb (42) continues to bring her broad long-term experience of the global WashTec organisation and especially her strong relationship with key accounts into the executive team. As chief human resources officer (CHRO) she will focus on leadership excellence, talent management and employee development. In addition she will stay responsible for corporate communication, compliance and special projects.
Stephan Weber (51) has already been appointed as chief sales officer (CSO), effective January 1, 2015. He has a broad international experience in developing new and existing markets for complex technical products.
Rainer Springs (48) who already has served WashTec as general manager for finance and IT for some time has been appointed as chief financial officer (CFO), effective February 1, 2015.
