Vilkyškių pieninė AB has completed issue of new shares and will acquire Kelmės pieninė AB

AB Vilkyškių pieninė has completed issue of 2.59 million new shares. The money received from the issue will be used for the acquisition of AB Kelmės pieninė. On March 28, 2008 Vilkyškių pieninė also received permission from the Competition Council. The company plans to finish the transaction by the end of April and to acquire 99.09 percent of shares of Kelmės pieninė and its subsidiary company UAB Kelmės pieno centras. UAB Finasta investicijų valdymas funds, SEB funds and a private investor Linas Strėlis acquired the new issue of shares and became the shareholders of the company. The shareholders acquired the shares for 5.40 litas per share and the total value of new issue reached 14 million litas.
