Application has been made to The UK Listing Authority and The London Stock Exchange for block listings totalling 400,000 Ordinary shares of 25p each to trade on The London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to The Official List. The shares shall rank equally with the existing issued shares of the Company.

The Block listings consist of 113,269 shares to be issued under The Unite Group plc Unapproved Share Option Scheme, 136,731 shares under The Unite Group plc Savings Related Share Option Scheme and 150,000 shares to be issued under The Unite Group plc Approved Option Share Scheme.
