BOARD CHANGE - RETIREMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Unite Group plc announces that Richard Akers, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, has notified the Board that he will step down from the Board on Wednesday, 15 December 2021 in view of his other increasing business commitments.

Richard has served as a Non-Executive Director of the Company since 1 September 2018.

Richard Huntingford, Chairman of the Company commented:

"Richard has been a very valuable member of the Unite Board with his wealth of experience of the wider property market and his sound judgement. I would like to thank him for his contribution to the Company over the past three years and wish him the very best for the future."
