UniCredit: precisazioni in relazione alle voci riportate dalla stampa in merito alla vendita di asset
UniCredit conferma di aver ricevuto delle offerte per Pioneer Investments e di essere in trattativa con dei potenziali acquirenti.
Come annunciato in data 11 luglio 2016, UniCredit ha intrapreso una profonda revisione strategica a livello di Gruppo, che riguarderà tutte le principali aree della banca al fine di rafforzare e ottimizzare la dotazione di capitale del Gruppo, migliorarne la redditività, garantire una continua evoluzione delle attività di business e mantenere la flessibilità necessaria a cogliere tutte le opportunità di generazione di valore.
L'esito di tale revisione, sarà comunicato a Londra durante il Capital Markets Day, il 13 dicembre 2016.
Per quanto riguarda Pioneer Investments, non vi è alcuna certezza che queste trattative possano portare ad alcuna transazione né certezza in merito alle condizioni alle quali tale operazione possa procedere.
Ulteriori dichiarazioni saranno effettuate se e quando necessario.

UniCredit: Further to media speculations regarding asset sales
UniCredit confirms it has received offers to acquire Pioneer Investments and that it is in discussions with potential buyers.
As announced on 11 July 2016, UniCredit is undertaking an in depth Group-wide strategic review, focusing on how to reinforce and optimize the Group's capital position, improve profitability and ensure continuous transformation of operations whilst maintaining flexibility to seize value creating opportunities. It encompasses all major areas of the bank.
The outcome of this strategic review will be unveiled at a Capital Markets Day in London on 13 December 2016.
As regards Pioneer Investments, there can be no certainty that these discussions will lead to any transaction nor any certainty as to the terms upon which any such transaction might potentially proceed.
