UniCredit Group completes sale of Ukrsotsbank to Alfa Group's ABH Holdings
Following the press release issued on the 11th January 2016(www.unicreditgroup.eu), UniCredit ("UCG") has completed the disposal of 99.9% held in PJSC Ukrsotsbank to Luxemburg based ABH Holdings S.A. ("ABHH") in exchange for a minority stake (9.90%) in ABHH.
Terms and conditions of the transaction, as announced on 11th January 2016, remain unchanged. Economic impacts are already included in the 2015 results, with the exception of the cumulative currency effects amounting to approximately minus €750 million (as of 30 September 2016) which will be capital neutral.
The National Bank of Ukraine allowed ABHH to acquire a qualifying holding in UniCredit S.p.A. unit PJSC Ukrsotsbank, approving the transaction on the 12th of October 2016. The deal between ABH Holdings and UniCredit was approved by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine on the 8th of September 2016.
