The entire sand cargo is under the custody of Customs Authorities as per orders of the Honorable High Court of Karnataka. Hence the ownership of the entire sand cargo vests with MSIL only. It is reliably learnt that AKPL is contemplating for public auction of the above Sand Consignment on 15.07.2024 without any prior permission and approval of MSIL, Customs Authority, Directorate of Mines and Geology of AP. In case, any security is agriculture land, not enforceable under the SRAFAESI Act, the Bank does not give up the said security and reserves its right to enforce the said security/ies before appropriate forum or otherwise as deemed fit.
