1. Summary of the notification
Pursuant to Article 14 of the law of 2 May 2007 on the disclosure of large shareholdings, UCB SA/NV announces that it received a transparency notification from BlackRock, Inc. (having its registered office at 50 Hudson Yards, New York, NY, 10001, U.S.A.), dated 16 August 2024.
BlackRock, Inc. notified that, following an acquisition of UCB shares with voting rights or assimilated instruments by its affiliates, its shareholding in UCB SA increased and crossed the 5% threshold on 15 August 2024.
On 15 August 2024, BlackRock, Inc. (taking into account the holding of its affiliates) owned 9 745 869 UCB shares with voting rights or assimilated instruments, representing 5,01% of the total number of shares issued by the company (194 505 658), versus 4,84% (9 412 691 UCB shares) in the previous notification dated 14 January 2020.
