1. Summary of the notification
Pursuant to Article 14 of the law of 2 May 2007 on the disclosure of large shareholdings, UCB SA/NV announces that it received a transparency notification from BlackRock, Inc. (having its registered office at 50 Hudson Yards, New York, NY, 10001, U.S.A.), dated 29 August 2024.
BlackRock, Inc. notified that, following a disposal of UCB shares with voting rights or assimilated financial instruments by its affiliates, its shareholding in UCB SA decreased and crossed downwards the 5% threshold on 27 August 2024.
On 27 August 2024, BlackRock, Inc. (taking into account the holding of its affiliates) owned 9 663 125 UCB shares with voting rights or assimilated financial instruments, representing 4,97% of the total number of shares issued by the company (194 505 658), versus 5,05% (9 829 160 UCB shares or assimilated financial instruments) in the previous notification dated 26 August 2024.
