Chairman's Address at 2026 Annual General Meeting
Touch Ventures Limited (Touch Ventures or the Company) releases its Chairman's Address for the Company's 2026 Annual General Meeting, held in Melbourne at 11:00 am on 14 May 2026.
Chairman's Address
Good morning, everyone, and welcome to today's Annual General Meeting for Touch Ventures Limited.
Before turning to the formal business, I'd like to briefly comment on the 2025 financial year, which was one of continued transition and renewed momentum. As set out in the Annual Report, while some parts of the legacy portfolio presented challenges, the Company made meaningful progress as we repositioned the Company for long-term value creation.
I first want to acknowledge the contribution of Jim Davis, a founding director of Touch Ventures and long-time supporter of the business, who stepped down in June 2025. Jim was instrumental in providing capital to the business and we thank him sincerely for his service. Importantly, Woodson Capital continues to be one of the Company's largest shareholders.
A key milestone in 2025 was the formal appointment of Gannet Capital as the external manager of the Company's investment portfolio. The Board has now worked closely with Glenn Poswell and his team for nearly two years, and we are delighted to have secured the services of a talented group of investment professionals with deep global networks and a disciplined approach to capital deployment. We are confident that this partnership is strengthening our investment capability and access to high-quality, often off-market investment opportunities.
Glenn will provide commentary on the Company's investment portfolio at the conclusion of today's business.
We are confident that Touch Ventures is now positioned with the right strategy, governance, and investment capability to deliver improved outcomes for shareholders in the years to come.
