Appointment of Director of Operations

PMA is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Shaun Bunn as Director of Operations. Shaun is an experienced metallurgist and senior manager with over 20 years experience in the resources industry who brings strong technical and project execution expertise to the board of PMA.

Shaun holds a BSc in Extractive Metallurgy from the Western Australian School of Mines and a postgraduate MBA from Deakin University.

Previously, Shaun held senior technical positions in the nickel and gold industries and his experience encompasses managing feasibility studies, project development and plant commissioning. He has held operations responsibility at a senior level for sophisticated pryometallurgical and hydrometallurgical process plants, which experience will be invaluable in running the relatively less complex Windimurra plant.

The role of Director of Operations will include direct responsibility for the completion of bankable feasibility study, development and subsequent operation of PMA's Windimurra vanadium mine.

The remuneration package for the position of Director of Operations as agreed with Mr Bunn includes base salary, a short tem incentive bonus tied to achievement of milestones and Mr Bunn will be entitled, (subject to shareholder approval) up to 500,000 options to acquire ordinary shares in PMA as set out in the table below.

We welcome Shaun to the board of PMA and believe that he will be a key member of the Windimurra mine development team.

Retirement of Mr Ian K Macpherson

It is with regret that I announce that Mr Ian Macpherson has retired from the board of PMA to focus on other activities. Ian is a senior partner of Ord Group Chartered Accountants and a director of a number of other public companies.

Ian joined the board in 2004 during difficult times and played a key part in the restructuring of PMA and the settlement of litigation. On behalf of the board I would like to thank Ian for his valuable contribution as a member of the board.

Mr Macpherson was also Company Secretary and he will be succeeded in this role by Michael Drew who is currently our Chief Financial Officer.
