TERNA GROUP SELLS ITS POWER TRANSMISSION ACTIVITIES IN PERU

Rome, 26 February 2026 – The Terna Group companies Terna Plus S.r.l. and Rete S.r.l. today signed a binding agreement with Engie Transmisión Perú S.A. (a company of the Engie Group) for the sale of 100% of the share capital of Terna Peru S.A.C., owner of a 138 kV power line, totalling 132 km, connecting the Aguaytía and Pucallpa substations in the Ucayali region of Peru.

The value of the transaction amounts to approximately USD 15 million. The closing of the deal is expected by the third quarter of 2026, subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions precedent.

The transaction is part of the Terna Group strategic refocusing, as confirmed in the update of the 2024-2028 Industrial Plan, implemented through the enhancement of power transmission assets in South America.
