TERNA: UPDATE OF THE EURO COMMERCIAL PAPER PROGRAMME AND INCREASE OF THE AMOUNT TO EURO 2 BILLION
Rome, 30 July 2024 – Terna S.p.A. has today updated its Euro Commercial Paper Programme for issuances of notes and ESG notes (the "ECP Programme"). On this occasion, the size of the ECP Programme has been increased to euro 2,000,000,000 (from euro 1,000,000,000).
The ECP Programme has been rated "P-2" by Moody's and "A-2" by S&P and has been submitted to the STEP (Short-Term European Paper) Secretariat in order to obtain the STEP label, so that the commercial papers issued thereunder will be eligible under the STEP Market Convention. During the validity of the ECP Programme, commercial papers will be designated as "ESG Notes", for so long as Terna achieves and maintains a score equal to or higher than the "Top 10% Global ESG Score" category in the Electric Utilities sector of the S&P Sustainability Yearbook.
The dealers of the Programme are BNP Paribas, Citigroup, Crédit Agricole, J.P. Morgan.
