TERNA: DANILO DEL GAIZO APPOINTED CORPORATE AFFAIRS DIRECTOR

Rome, 16 October 2023 – Terna announces that Attorney at Law, Danilo Del Gaizo is the new Group Corporate Affairs Director.

Born in Naples in 1958, Mr. Del Gaizo has served at the State Attorney's Office, accumulating extensive experience in constitutional, European and international law, administrative law, competition law, and public procurement. More recently, he held the position of Deputy State Attorney General.

Throughout his career, Mr. Del Gaizo has also held several institutional positions, including Head of the Legislative Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and of the Minister for Reforms and Innovations in Public Administration, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Minister of Economic Development, and Chief of Staff of the President of the Campania Region.

He has also previously been awarded university research funding and is the author of scientific publications on procedural, administrative, and community law. Mr. Del Gaizo has also lectured at the University of Naples "Federico II" and "Unitelma Sapienza" in Rome.

The appointment of Mr. Del Gaizo as the new Director of Corporate Affairs, was submitted for information to the Appointments, Governance and Scenarios Committee and to the Related Parties Committee, which expressed a positive non-binding opinion.

Based on the information available to the Company, as of today's date, Mr. Del Gaizo does not hold shares in Terna S.p.A.
