Reduction of share capital

In accordance with the resolution of the Annual General Meeting 7 May 2019, Telenor ASA has on 2 July 2019 reduced the share capital with a total of NOK 173,999,994. This is done by cancelling 13,350,090 own shares and by redeeming 15,649,909 shares held by the Kingdom of Norway through the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries.

The share capital subsequent to the capital reduction is NOK 8,654,748,192 divided into 1,442,458,032 shares, each with a par value of NOK 6.00.

Following these transactions Telenor owns a total of 5,144,652 own shares under 2019-20 share buyback programme.
