Competition-authority approval in Pakistan

Reference is made to the Oslo Stock Exchange release of 14 December, 2023 regarding the agreement to sell 100% of Telenor Pakistan (private) Limited to Pakistan Telecommunications Company Ltd (PTCL).

PTCL has informed that an approval for the transaction has now been received from the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP). With this key milestone in the regulatory process achieved, we now will proceed to seek approval from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).

Telenor looks forward to a timely approval process and final completion of the transaction.
