The Chairman of the Board of Telenor ASA resigns

Svein Aaser has today informed that he resigns as Chairman of

the Board of Directors of Telenor ASA, effective immediately.

Svein Aaser has served as chairman of the board since 16 May

The Nomination Committee of Telenor ASA is responsible for

submitting a recommendation to the Corporate Assembly for the

election of a new chairman of the board. Anders Skjævestad is

Chairman of the Nomination Committee of Telenor ASA.
