Jon Erik Reinhardsen elected new board member of Telenor ASA

Jon Erik Reinhardsen elected new board member of Telenor ASA

On 14 May 2014, the Corporate Assembly of Telenor ASA

elected Mr Jon Erik Reinhardsen (Born 1956) as member

of the Board of Directors of Telenor ASA. Reinhardsen

succeeds Mr Hallvard Bakke, who has served on the

Board of Directors since 19 May 2011.

Reinhardsen is President and CEO of Petroleum Geo-

Services (PGS), a position he has held since April

2008. Prior to joining PGS, he has held executive

positions in Alcoa, Aker Kvaerner and Aker Maritime.

Reinhardsen obtained a master`s degree in applied

mathematics and geophysics from the University of

Bergen, Norway. In 1991 he completed the International

Executive Program at the Institute for Management

Development (IMD) Lausanne, Switzerland.
