HSC receives additional orders from ADT / Johnson Controls for $1.1 million

• HSC’s Platinum Partner ADT has placed an additional purchase orders for 3,350 units

• Revenue forecast from orders totalling $1.1 million

HSC Technology Group Ltd (ASX:HSC) is pleased to announce that its platinum partner Johnson Controls’ ADT Security Pacific (ADT) has placed binding purchase orders totalling 3,350 units which are to be delivered over the next 12 months. The revenue generated from these orders is expected to total approximately $1.1 million.

These orders follow ADT’s initial purchase of the HSC Essence Care@home order of 1,400 units, the details of which were announced 8 March 2021.

ADT acting proactively, has recognised the need to replace their existing 3G Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) platform and is acutely aware of the challenges ahead with the planned shutdown of the 3G network in Australia.

Managing Director of HSC Technology Group, Graham Russell, said “The shutdown of the 3G mobile telecommunications network is a significant change event for the PERS market. It is great to see ADT having the foresight to prepare in advance. As we have witnessed with the NBN changeover there were significant transitional problems experienced and this has been rolled out on an area by area basis. It is different with the 3G network, which will be literally all turned off at once!”

The Essence Care@home hubs will all be connected to HSC’s proprietary TALIUS Data Analytics Platform, allowing ADT to add services as the immediate needs of Emergency Response are met and enable Ageing in Place technology for their clients in the future.
