Termination of Ortynytska Project in Ukraine

The Company, as referred to in its quarterly activities statement released on 30 January 2014, has decided to terminate its involvement in the Ortynytska Project in Ukraine. The decision to cease its involvement was reached at that time, and with regret. However it was considered that until such time as the Company had completed its corporate restructure and consolidation of debt to equity, it would be unable to raise exploration and development capital. It was also considered that the required funds for this project were probably going to be outside the scope of the Company even after completion of the restructuring process. This was because the likely size and cost of any exploration drilling programme was likely to be considerably in excess of what was contemplated when entering into the transaction in 2012.
