On October 5, 2012, Talanx Aktiengesellschaft, Riethorst 2, 30659 Hannover,
Germany, has received the following voting rights notification pursuant to
section 21 para. 1 and para. 1a WpHG:

1. Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG, Hamburg, Germany, informed us
   according to section 21 para. 1a WpHG that on October 1, 2012, the date of
   the first-time admission of the shares in Talanx Aktiengesellschaft to
   trading, its share in the voting rights of Talanx Aktiengesellschaft
   amounted to 5.46% (12,750,000 voting rights).

2. In the same notification, Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG informed us
   according to section 21 para. 1 WpHG that on October 4, 2012, its share in
   the voting rights of Talanx Aktiengesellschaft fell below the thresholds of
   5% and 3% and amounted to 0.00% (zero voting rights).
