end of October 2012 the total number of voting rights from shares in Talanx
Aktiengesellschaft amounts to 252,625,682. The change in the total number
of voting rights in October 2012 was implemented in the following steps:

1. Increase of the total number by 25,500,000 new voting rights as of
   October 1, 2012

2. Increase of the total number by 16,393,442 new voting rights as of
   October 4, 2012

3. Increase of the total number by 2.732.240 new voting rights as of
   October 22, 2012
