INFORMATION IN RELATION TO A SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDER

The Board of Directors (" Board ") of Sunpower Group Ltd. (the " Company ", and together with its subsidiaries, the " Group ") announces with sadness and regret the passing of Dr. Lin Yucheng, one of the Company's substantial shareholders, on 3 January 2026.

On behalf of the Board and all employees of the Group, the Board extends its deepest condolences to Dr. Lin's family during this time of bereavement.
