Suncorp Retail Entitlement Offer

It is confirmed that allotment of the Suncorp Retail Entitlement Offer new shares will occur later today as previously announced.

However, due to finalisation of certain share registry processes occurring later than anticipated, it is now expected that the new shares will commence trading on ASX on Wednesday, 25 March 2009 instead of Tuesday, 24 March 2009 as previously announced.

It is expected that holding statements will be despatched to participants no later than Friday, 27 March 2009.
