Suncorp appoints Chief Program Excellence Officer

Suncorp CEO and Managing Director Michael Cameron today announced that Lisa Harrison, who is currently in the role of Executive General Manager Insurance Operations at the company, has been appointed to the position of Chief Program Excellence Officer.

Mr Cameron said Ms Harrison will be responsible for the co-ordination of the Suncorp business plan deliverables, including key projects that have been prioritised to build the Suncorp Marketplace.

“Lisa will play a key role in helping the team bring the Marketplace to life so that our customers can benefit from having a simple, easy and fast experience, as well as being able to access best-in-class services and solutions from both Suncorp and third parties,” Mr Cameron said.

“Lisa has held various senior roles at Suncorp since 2004 and is ideally placed to drive these programs which will directly benefit customers.

“I am looking forward to the contribution that Lisa will make to ensuring Suncorp is the destination for the moments that matter to our customers.”

Ms Harrison will take up her new role on 1 July 2017.

Lisa Harrison joined Suncorp in December 2004 and since then has progressed to various senior roles within the company.

These include: Executive Manager, Personal Insurance Business Planning; Head of General Insurance Brand and Marketing; Executive General Manager (EGM), Customer Distribution, Suncorp Life; EGM, Customer, Product & Pricing, Personal Insurance; and EGM Insurance Operations.

Prior to joining Suncorp, Ms Harrison held roles at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance.
