SALLY HERMAN APPOINTED TO SUNCORP BOARD

The Board of Suncorp Group Limited (Suncorp) announces the appointment of Sally Herman as a non-executive director, commencing 22 October 2015. Ms Herman fills the vacancy created by Michael Cameron’s appointment to the position of Managing Director and Group CEO.

Chairman Dr Ziggy Switkowski welcomes Ms Herman, saying “Sally has extensive financial services experience and will bring fresh insight and perspective into the challenges and opportunities presented to Suncorp now and into the future.”

Ms Herman brings more than 25 years’ experience as an executive in financial services in Australia and the US, as well as her experience as a non-executive director in consumer products, retail, financial services and property sectors. Sally has held senior executive roles with large financial institutions, including Westpac and Macquarie.
